Online Formula Reference
From Ultrafractal Wiki
Open this link and you will see a compilation of most of the information about classes in UF5. Its not totally up date as for all ulbs, as the formula writers are still busy at work. In the upper left hand corner you should see a list of ulb files. Click on "common" to see the list of classes in common.ulb. This is the basic ulb that supports UF5.
This is the main source of documentation on the class (ULB) files for UF5. The information on the classes can help understand how the classes work to build images. There are hierarchy diagrams that can help one to understand the relationship between TrapShape, TrapShape Block, TrapShape Merge, etc. For example, if you want to know what classes are possible to load into a TrapShape position, the tree diagrams will show all of the classes that are a TrapShape descendant and allowable for using as a TrapShape. It is also intended to be a source for additional documentation on classes that formula authors write. This includes tutorials, or links to any related information on other web sites.
However, it is dependent upon formula authors providing this additional information. Relevant tutorials written by anyone can be added to this site. Or, links to tutorials hosted else can be added.
The class documentation is automatically generated, so the format is not easily changed. I understand that the class documentation is geared towards programmer types. That is a byproduct of using tools to automatically generate the documentation. Modifying existing tools to make the process easy was chosen over creating new tools completely from scratch. Suggestions are always welcome for ways to make it better, and if they are able to be incorporated into the documentation generation program, I can see about making them.
A few tutorials posted to the list by Ron and Mark have been added to his documentation. But, there are just too many potentially useful emails (such as recent ones by Damien) for me to try to keep track and add them all.
The bottom line is, I need feedback to know if the information on this site is helpful. In order to make it more useful, I need to be supplied information (links, tutorials, tips, etc.) that can be added. There is a lot of flexibility here, both for class file authors to provide documentation for their classes, and for others to suggest and/or provide additional information that can help everyone.
Links to the challenge pages hosted by Ron will be added soon.
So, please let me know if you have any questions, suggestions, contributions, etc.

Hi all,
I've uploaded new class documentation reflecting a few new additions to class files.
Also, there is a new page "Class Examples and Tutorials" that is linked in the Important Links section. It includes images showing the shapes of the various trap shapes the colors of the color maps in kcc5.ulb. It also links to tutorials that Ron and Mark have posted to the list.
This information can be expanded as people write tutorials or provide examples. The examples are not necessarily limited to those who have written class files. If you have tutorials that are useful, please let me know and I can work with you to add them.
If anyone has suggestions to make the documentation more complete and useful, please speak up. The format is pretty much set because most of it is automatically generated. But, additions can be made to include additional information.
